Getting Started
What is Ai-Mee?
Ai-Mee is an AI-powered marketing assistant that creates, reviews, and publishes content for your business across social media, email, and blogs. You describe what you need, Aimee (your AI assistant) creates it, and you approve before anything goes live.
Do I need any marketing experience to use Ai-Mee?
None at all. Ai-Mee is designed for business owners and teams who want great content without needing to be writers or marketers. Just tell Aimee what you need in plain English.
How do I get started?
See the Getting Started guide for a full walkthrough. The short version: create an account, add your business details, connect with Aimee on Telegram, and make your first content request.
What is Aimee?
Aimee is your AI marketing assistant and the main way you interact with Ai-Mee. She lives in Telegram and handles content requests, approval reviews, reminders, and more. Think of her as a marketing team member available any time you need her.
Do I have to use Telegram?
Telegram is the primary way to interact with Aimee, but you can also manage your posts, campaigns, and settings through the web dashboard at ai-mee.uk.
Content Generation
How does Ai-Mee create content?
When you request content, Aimee collects everything she knows about your brand (brand voice rules, your website, uploaded assets, past content), then an AI writer creates platform-specific drafts. A second AI then reviews those drafts against your brand rules and refines them if needed — before you ever see them.
How long does it take to generate content?
Usually less than a minute.
Can Ai-Mee write for multiple platforms at once?
Yes. A single request can produce content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, email, and your blog simultaneously. Each platform gets its own tailored version — not a copy-paste.
What if the draft isn't what I wanted?
Just tell Aimee what to change. Tap Request Edit and describe the problem. She'll revise and send you a new version. You can also reject a post and start fresh.
Can I write my own posts instead of using the AI?
Not currently. Ai-Mee is built around AI-generated content. You can heavily edit drafts before approving them, but the initial creation is handled by the AI.
Does the AI ever make mistakes?
Occasionally. AI can get dates wrong, misrepresent facts, or produce content that doesn't quite fit your brand. Always read drafts before approving — especially if they contain specific facts, prices, or dates. When you spot errors, reject or request edits with a note explaining what was wrong.
How does the AI know about my business?
Ai-Mee learns from several sources:
- Your brand voice rules (set up during onboarding or in settings)
- Your client profile (company name, description, website, industry)
- Your knowledge base (a document you can fill in with facts about your business)
- Uploaded assets (images, menus, documents)
- Your website, which Ai-Mee can automatically scan
Brand Voice
What is brand voice and why does it matter?
Brand voice is how your business sounds in writing. It includes your tone, the words you use or avoid, who you're writing for, and what your content is trying to achieve. Without brand voice rules, AI content sounds generic. With them, it sounds like you.
How do I set up my brand voice?
During Telegram onboarding, Aimee will ask you four questions. You can also add and edit rules manually in your client settings. See the Brand Voice guide.
How many brand voice rules can I have?
There's no limit. Add as many as you need. More rules generally lead to better, more consistent content.
Can I change my brand voice rules later?
Yes, at any time from your client settings page.
Post Approval
Does anything ever get published without my approval?
No. Every post must be approved by you before it's published. Aimee will present drafts to you in Telegram, and nothing goes live until you give the go-ahead.
How do I approve posts?
In Telegram, tap the Approve button on any draft. You can also approve from the dashboard's Post Review Wizard. See the Reviewing and Approving guide.
What's the difference between rejecting a post and requesting an edit?
- Request Edit — you want a revised version. Tell Aimee what to change and she'll send you an updated draft.
- Reject — you don't want this post at all. It won't be published.
Can I edit the content myself before approving?
Yes. Open the post in the dashboard and you can make manual edits to the text before approving.
Can I schedule posts in advance?
Yes. Once a post is approved, you can set a specific date and time for it to go live, or schedule it at a regular interval.
Platforms & Publishing
Which platforms does Ai-Mee support?
Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok, Mailchimp, direct email (SMTP), Resend, Ghost CMS, WordPress, and Blogger. See the full Supported Platforms page.
Do I need accounts on all those platforms?
No. You only need to connect the platforms you actually use. Ai-Mee will create content for the platforms you've connected.
How do I connect my social accounts?
See the Connecting Social Accounts guide for step-by-step instructions for each platform.
What if my platform isn't listed?
Get in touch via the Need Help? page and let us know. We're always expanding.
Can Ai-Mee publish to multiple accounts for the same platform?
Currently, each integration supports one account per platform per client (e.g., one Facebook Page, one LinkedIn profile).
Analytics
Where can I see how my content is performing?
Go to your client's Analytics page in the dashboard. You can filter by metric type and see per-platform breakdowns. See Reading Analytics.
Which metrics are tracked?
Impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, email opens, email clicks, and click-through rates.
Why aren't analytics showing for some posts?
Analytics are fetched from your connected platforms. If a platform isn't connected, metrics won't be available for posts published to it. For email, open and click tracking requires the email to be sent through Ai-Mee's email system.
Security & Privacy
Are my social media credentials stored securely?
Yes. All integration credentials (API keys, passwords, tokens) are encrypted before being stored. They're never displayed in plain text after you save them.
Who can see my content and account data?
Only you and any team members you've authorised on your account.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Contact us via the Need Help? page to request a data deletion.
