Connecting Your Social Accounts

To publish content through Ai-Mee, you need to connect your social media accounts, email tools, and blog platforms. This guide walks you through each one.

All integrations are managed per client. Go to your client's page → Integrations to get started.

Facebook

What you need: Admin access to a Facebook Page (not a personal profile)

  1. Go to Integrations → Facebook
  2. Click Connect with Facebook
  3. You'll be taken to Facebook to log in and grant permissions
  4. Select the Facebook Page(s) you want to connect
  5. Click Continue and you'll be redirected back to Ai-Mee
  6. The integration card should now show Connected

Warning

You must have admin or editor access to the Page. Connecting a personal profile isn't supported.

Instagram

What you need: An Instagram Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page

  1. Go to Integrations → Instagram
  2. Click Connect Instagram
  3. Log in to Facebook (Instagram Business accounts are managed via Facebook)
  4. Select the Instagram account linked to your Facebook Page
  5. Confirm permissions and return to Ai-Mee

Tips

If your Instagram account isn't appearing, make sure it's a Business or Creator account (not a personal account) and that it's properly linked to your Facebook Page in Meta Business Settings.

LinkedIn

What you need: A LinkedIn account; admin access if connecting a company page

  1. Go to Integrations → LinkedIn
  2. Click Connect with LinkedIn
  3. Log in to LinkedIn and grant permissions
  4. Choose whether to connect your personal profile or a company page
  5. Confirm and return to Ai-Mee

X / Twitter

What you need: A Twitter/X developer app with Read and Write permissions

Twitter/X uses API credentials rather than OAuth, so this takes a few more steps.

  1. Go to the Twitter Developer Portal
  2. Create a project and app (or use an existing one)
  3. In your app settings, ensure Read and Write permissions are enabled
  4. Generate an API Key, API Secret, Access Token, and Access Token Secret
  5. In Ai-Mee, go to Integrations → Twitter/X
  6. Enter your four credentials and click Save

Warning

Keep these credentials private. Don't share them with anyone or paste them into public messages.

TikTok

  1. Go to Integrations → TikTok
  2. Click Connect
  3. Follow the authorisation flow
  4. Return to Ai-Mee

TikTok publishing works via the Outstand adapter.

Mailchimp

What you need: A Mailchimp account with at least one audience list

  1. Log in to Mailchimp and go to Profile → Extras → API keys
  2. Click Create A Key and copy the key
  3. In Ai-Mee, go to Integrations → Mailchimp
  4. Paste your API key and click Save
  5. Select the audience list you want to use

SMTP (Custom Email)

Use your own email server to send newsletters and marketing emails.

  1. Go to Integrations → SMTP
  2. Enter:
    • Host — your SMTP server address (e.g., smtp.gmail.com)
    • Port — usually 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL)
    • Username — your email address
    • Password — your email password or app-specific password
  3. Click Save

Tips

If using Gmail, you'll need to generate an App Password rather than using your regular password.

Resend

What you need: A Resend account

  1. Go to resend.com and sign in
  2. Go to API Keys and create a new key
  3. Copy the key
  4. In Ai-Mee, go to Integrations → Resend
  5. Paste the key and click Save

  1. In your Ghost admin panel, go to Settings → Integrations → Add custom integration
  2. Give it a name (e.g., "Ai-Mee")
  3. Copy the Admin API Key and your site URL
  4. In Ai-Mee, go to Integrations → Ghost
  5. Enter your site URL and Admin API Key, then click Save

WordPress

What you need: A WordPress site (any plan), application passwords enabled

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords
  2. Create a new application password named "Ai-Mee" and copy it
  3. In Ai-Mee, go to Integrations → WordPress
  4. Enter your site URL, username, and the application password
  5. Click Save

Blogger

What you need: A Google account with a Blogger blog

  1. Go to Integrations → Blogger
  2. Click Connect with Google
  3. Log in to Google and grant permissions
  4. Select the Blogger blog you want to connect
  5. Return to Ai-Mee

Troubleshooting Connections

My integration shows as disconnected Try reconnecting by clicking the integration card and going through the authorisation flow again. Connections can expire, especially for platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn that use OAuth tokens.

I can't see my Facebook Page Make sure you have admin or editor access to the page in Meta Business Suite.

Twitter isn't accepting my credentials Double-check that your app has Read and Write permissions enabled — not just Read.
