Post Approval Workflow
Every post Aimee creates has to pass through your approval before it gets published. Nothing goes out without your say-so.
The Post Lifecycle
Each post moves through a series of stages:
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| New | Content has been generated and is waiting for your review |
| Pending Review | You've been notified and the post is awaiting your decision |
| Approved | You've approved it — it's either scheduled or ready to publish |
| Scheduled | Approved and queued to go live at a specific date and time |
| Sent / Published | The post has been published to the platform(s) |
| Rejected | You declined the post — it won't be published |
How to Review Posts
Via Telegram (Recommended)
Aimee will send you a message in Telegram when new content is ready to review. You can:
- Approve — the post is approved for publishing
- Request an Edit — describe what you'd like changed; Aimee will revise and send back a new draft
- Reject — the post won't be published; you can give a reason to help improve future content
You can also ask Aimee at any time:
"What posts are waiting for my approval?"
Via the Dashboard
The Post Review Wizard lets you work through all pending posts in one go:
- Go to the Posts section of your dashboard
- Click Review Posts
- For each post, view the platform-specific content versions, read the draft, and choose Approve / Edit / Reject
- When you're done, all your decisions are saved at once
You can also open individual posts to review them in detail, including:
- The content for each platform (e.g., Instagram caption, LinkedIn post, email body)
- Any suggested images
- Post metadata (campaign, created date, etc.)
Requesting an Edit
If a draft isn't quite right, select Request Edit and describe what you'd like changed. For example:
- "Make the tone more casual"
- "Remove the hashtags from the LinkedIn version"
- "The offer end date is wrong — it's the 30th, not the 31st"
- "This is too long — cut it in half"
Aimee will revise the content and send back an updated draft for you to review again.
Rejection Reasons
When rejecting a post, you can optionally select a reason. This helps Aimee learn what's not working:
- Wrong tone
- Off-brand content
- Wrong audience
- Factually incorrect
- Poor quality
- Mentions a competitor
- Other (free text)
Over time, feedback like this helps the AI improve the quality of its drafts for your business.
Scheduling Approved Posts
Once a post is approved, you can schedule it to go live at a specific date and time. Ai-Mee supports:
- Custom date/time — pick exactly when it publishes
- Scheduled intervals — daily, weekly, monthly, or custom cadences
- One-click publish — publish immediately to all approved posts at once
Reminders for Pending Posts
If a post has been waiting for your review for more than 24 hours, Aimee will send you a reminder in Telegram. You'll also receive a weekly summary every Monday morning showing:
- How many posts are pending approval
- What was published last week
- A prompt to plan the week's content
