Reviewing and Approving Posts
Every post Aimee creates needs your approval before it gets published. This guide walks you through how to review, approve, edit, reject, and schedule posts.
Two Ways to Review Posts
You can review posts in Telegram (the quickest, most convenient method) or in the dashboard (better for reviewing many posts at once).
Reviewing in Telegram
When Aimee finishes creating content, she'll send you a message with the draft. You'll see:
- The content for each platform (e.g., Instagram caption, LinkedIn post)
- Any suggested images
- Action buttons: Approve, Request Edit, Reject, See Full
Approving a Post
Tap Approve to accept the post. It will be marked as approved and you can then schedule or publish it from the dashboard.
Requesting an Edit
Tap Request Edit and type what you'd like changed:
"The tone is too formal — make it more conversational.""Remove the price mention from the LinkedIn version.""This is too long. Cut the last paragraph."
Aimee will revise the draft and send you the updated version.
Rejecting a Post
Tap Reject to decline the post entirely. Aimee will ask for a reason (optional but helpful):
- Wrong tone
- Off-brand content
- Wrong audience
- Factually incorrect
- Poor quality
- Mentions a competitor
- Other
Your feedback helps improve future drafts.
Checking for Pending Posts
Ask Aimee any time:
"What posts are waiting for my approval?"
Or use the /posts command to see recent posts.
Reviewing in the Dashboard
The dashboard gives you a more visual, detailed view — especially useful for reviewing multiple posts at once.
Using the Post Review Wizard
- Go to Posts in the left-hand menu
- Click Review Posts
- You'll be shown pending posts one at a time
- For each post:
- Read the content for each platform (tabs for Instagram, LinkedIn, email, etc.)
- View any attached images
- Choose: Approve, Request Edit, or Reject
- When you're done, your decisions are saved
Viewing an Individual Post
- Go to Posts
- Click on any post to open the detail view
- You can see the full content, platform versions, images, campaign link, and post history
- Use the action buttons to approve, edit, or reject from here too
Scheduling an Approved Post
Once a post is approved, you can set a date and time for it to go live:
- Open the approved post
- Click Schedule
- Choose the date and time
- Save the schedule
Your scheduling options include:
- A specific date and time
- Repeating intervals (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Immediate publishing
Publishing Immediately
If you want to publish right away rather than scheduling, open an approved post and click Publish Now. Ai-Mee will push the content to all connected platforms for that post.
Reminders for Pending Posts
Aimee automatically reminds you if posts have been waiting for approval for more than 24 hours. You'll get a Telegram message listing what's still outstanding.
You'll also receive a weekly summary every Monday showing:
- Posts pending approval
- What was published last week
- A prompt to plan this week's content
