Why aren't my posts publishing after I've approved them?

If you've approved a post and it never went live, it's almost always because the platform integration has disconnected. Go to your client's Integrations page and reconnect any platform showing as disconnected — approved posts will retry automatically once you've approved the reconnection.

What you'll see

  • A post sitting in Approved or Scheduled status that never goes live, even though you approved it
  • Nothing published to Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn even though you approved the post
  • No error message anywhere in the dashboard

Why it happens

OAuth connections to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn expire periodically, and Ai-Mee can't publish an approved post through an expired connection. Scheduled posts also won't publish until their scheduled time arrives, even though you've already approved them.

How to fix it

  1. Open your client and go to Integrations.
  2. Look for any platform marked Disconnected.
  3. Click it and re-authorise. You'll be sent to the platform and back.
  4. Check the post's status on your dashboard — if it's scheduled for later, it will publish at that time, not immediately.

Still stuck?

Email support@ai-mee.uk with your account email, the client name, and the date you approved the post.
